We are pleased to say that as from the 15th July, our flights will begin to recommence!
Bookings can be made at present for Saturday PM flights,
Sunday Am or PM flights,
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday PM flights
There will be some things that we have to implement that will have an affect on how we manage the flights and we will be happy to discuss these with you when you telephone us to make your booking. They include:
Bringing and wearing a face mask
Use of the hand sanitiser prior to the flight and after the flight will be required unless you bring your own of course.
Bringing cotton gardening gloves or similar which you will need to wear during the flight and which of course you can take home with you and pop in the washing machine.
The number of people on each flight is restricted to 5 people (plus the pilot) there will be 3 people in one compartment and 2 in the other – all passengers will be asked to look outwards rather than inwards to chat with each other.
Passengers will not be able to assist us in the launch/preparation of the balloon or in the packing away after we have landed.
This means that after your flight, it will take us a little longer to pack away the kit and return you to the launch site – some people have a friend or family member who they will contact upon landing and who will come and collect them to avoid the delay – if you are able to do this please let us know in advance.
The normal celebrations after the flight will change and you will be given a bottle of bubbly to take home with you.
Although the flights will be a little different for the time being we hope that you are happy to go along with the current restrictions and we will delighted to see you in the near future.

Our pilots have completed all the normal preseason checks and have flown in-between the bad weather spells to ensure that you have an enjoyable and safe experience when you fly with us. To support Smarden village near Headcorn, we have organised for several hot air balloons to fly from The Smarden Beer Festival in Smarden village on Saturday and Sunday the 5th and 6th August. To enjoy the event which includes a 25 piece Jazz Band, Skybus Ballooning plan to be flying on both early mornings and evenings from the event, with plans to fly our beautiful Kaleidoscope balloon and the wonderful ‘Servo’ balloon, so bring a picnic and make an afternoon of it.
